I enlisted in the AF right out of high school in 1982 and joined as an Electrical and Environmental Systems Specialist.  While stationed in Jever Germany, I met and married my wife Marianne in Sept 1984.  Also, as a young NCO, I completed my Bachelor’s Degree and was an Air Force Instructor teaching my career field for several years.  During my last 10 years in the Air Force as a Chief Master Sergeant, I was in charge of many different flights, squadrons and finally the maintenance group in charge of over 1200 airmen.  I also finished my Master's Degree in Professional Aeronautics through Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in 2003.  While stationed in Spangdalem Germany in 2005, I was hire to teach for Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and now have been teaching college for over 9 years. In 2012 after retiring from the Air Force with 30 years of service, I was certified to teach the Air Force Junior ROTC program.  I taught my first year at Lee's Summit North in 2012-2013 and then moved back to Knob Noster in 2013-2014 school year.  My wife and I have two boys, Steven Jr graduation Knob Noster High School in 2005 and Charles who graduated Knob Noster High School in 2013.
